أَنْتَ الحَقُّ وَوَعْدُكَ الحَقُّ وَقَوْلُكَ الحَقُّ وَلِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ وَالجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ والسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ والنَّبِيّونَ حَقٌّ وَمُحَمَّدٌ (صلى الله عليه و سلم) حَقٌّ

Antal-Haqqu wa wa'dukal-haqqu wa qawlukal-haqqu wa liqa’uka haqqun, wal-jannahtu haqqun wan-naru haqqun, was-sa'atu haqqun, wan-nabiyyoona haqqun wa Muhammadun haqq.

O Allah! You are the Truth, Your Promise is True, Your Speech is True, Your Meeting is True, Paradise is True, the Hellfire is True, the Hour is True, the Prophets are True and Muhammad (SAW) is True.​

الَّلهُمُّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْت، وَبِكَ آمَنت، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْت، وإليك أنبت، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْت، وَإِلَيْكَ حاَكَمْت، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْت، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَما أَعْلَت، أَنْتَ المُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ المُؤَخِّرُ لا إِلهَ إِلا أَنْتَ، ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله‏

"Allahumma laka aslamtu, wa bika amantu, wa 'alaika tawakkaltu, wa ilaika anabtu, wa bika khasamtu, wa ilaika hakamtu. Faghfir li ma qaddamtu wa ma akh-khart, wa ma asrartu wa ma a'lant, Antal-Muqaddimu wa Antal-Mu'akhkhiru la ilaha illa Ant, La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.

O Allah! to You I submit, in You I affirm my faith, upon I relied, for You I have argued, with Your Help I contend my adversaries, to You I have taken my judgement, so forgive me that I have done and what I have not done, what I have hidden and what I have disclosed. You are the Promoter, and You are the Delayer, There is none worthy of worship except You. There is no strength to resist evil and no power to do good except through Allah.

اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آل مُحَمُّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلى آل إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيد، وَبَارِكْ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آل مُحَمُّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلى آل إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيد

Transliteration

O Allah! Send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the followers of Muhammad, just as you sent prayers upon Ibrahim and upon the followers of Ibrahim. Verily, you are Praiseworthy, Glorious. And O Allah! Send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the followers of Muhammad, just as you sent blessings upon Ibrahim and upon the followers of Ibrahim. Verily, you are are Praiseworthy, Glorious.

اللهُمَّ أَعِزَّ الإِسْلامَ وَالمُسْلِمِينَ، وَأَذِلَّ الشِّرْكَ وَالمُشْرِكِينَ وَدَمِّرْ أَعْدآءَ الدِّينِ وَاحْمِ حَوْزَةَ الإسْلامِ يَا رَبَّ العَالَمِينَ

Allahumma a'izzal-Islama wal-Muslimeen, wa adhillash-shirka wal-Mushrikeen, wa dammir a'daa’ad-deen, wahmi hawzatal-Islami ya rabbal-3alameen.

O Allah! Raise the standing of Islam and the Muslims. and degrade the standing of Kufr and the Kaafireen, and Shirk and the Mushrikeen. Destroy the enemies of the Deen, and protect the lands of Islam, O Lord of the Worlds.

اللهُمَّ انْصُرْ دِينَكَ وَكِتَابَكَ وَسُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكَ وَعِبادَكَ المُوَحِّدينَ.

Allahummansur deenaka wa kitabaka wa sunnahta nabiyyika wa ibaadakal-Muwahhideen.

O Allah! Grant Victory to Your religion, Your book, and the Sunnah of Your prophet, and Your monotheist slaves.​

اللهم اغفر للمسلمين والمسلمات, والمؤمنين والمؤمنات, الأحياء منهم والأموات الى يوم الدين

Transliteration

O Allah, forgive the Muslim men, and the Muslim women, and the believing men, and the believing women, those who are alive, and those who have died.​

اَللّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلاَمُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلاَمُ، وَاِلَيْكَ يَعُوْدُ السَّلاَمُ، فَحَيِّنَا رَبَّنَا بِالسَّلاَمِ، وَاَدْخِلْنَا الْجَنَّةَ دَارَ السَّلاَمِ، تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا يَا ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ

Allaahumma antas salaam, wa min kas salaam, wa ilaika ya 'uudus salaam, fahayyinaa rabbanaa bis salaam, wa adkhilnal jannata daaras salaam, tabaarakta rabbanaa wa ta'aalaita yaa dzal ialaali walikraam.

"O Allah, You are the perfect peace and from You comes peace, and You are the return of peace. Therefore quicken us, O our Lord, peacefully. Include us in heaven, a place of peace. You, O our Lord, Supreme Holy and Most High, O Substances That Have Greatness and Glory!

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَآ اَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخٰسِرِينَ

Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfirlana watar hamna lana koonanna minal khasireen.

Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves, and if you do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be amongst the losers.

(Al-A'raf:23)

رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الأبْرَارِ

[آل عمران :193]

Rabbana faghfir lana dhunoobana wa kaffir 'ana sayyi'aatina wa tawaffana ma'al Abrar.

Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, remove from us our evil deeds, and makes us die with the righteous.

[3:193]

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

[المؤمنون :109]

رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ

Rabbana amanna faghfir lana warhamna wa anta khayrur Rahimiin.

Our Lord! We believe in You; Please forgive us and have mercy upon us: For You are the Best of those who show mercy.

[23: 109]

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْماً كَثِيراً، وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ وَارْحَمْنِي إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ

Transliteration

O Allah, I have greatly wronged myself and no one forgives sins but You. So, grant me forgiveness and have mercy on me. Surely, you are Forgiving, Merciful

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لا إِلَهَ إِلا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلا أَنْتَ

‘Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Anta Khalaqtani wa ana abduka, wa ana ‘ala ahdika wa wa’dika mastata’tu, A’udhu bika min Sharri ma sana’tu, abu’u Laka bini’matika ‘alaiya, wa Abu Laka bidhanbi faghfirli innahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta.

O’ Allah You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshiped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise (to You) as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.

أَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّيْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَ أَنْتَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ، مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ كَانَ، وَ مَا لَمْ يَشَأْ لَمْ يَكُنْ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ، أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ، وَ أَنَّ اللّهَ قَدْ أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا، أَللّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِيْ، وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا، إِنَّ رَبِّيْ عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ

Allah-humma, anta rabbi, laa ilaaha illaa Anta, 'alaika tawakkaltu wa anta rabbul 'arshil kareem maashaa Allahu kaana wa maLam yasha' lam yakun-wa laa hawla wa lla quwwata illaa bil-Laahil A'liyyil 'Atheem. A'lamu annallaaha 'alaa kulli shay in qadiyrun-wa annallaaha qad ahaata bikulli shay in ilmaa. Allah-humma inni a'uthu bika min sharri nafsiy wa min sharri kulli daabbatin anta aakhithum bi naasiyatihaa inna rabiy 'alaa siraatim mustaqiym.

“O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You, I put my trust in You, You are the Lord of the Mighty Throne. Whatever Allah wills will happen and what He does not will, cannot happen. There is no power or strength except with Allah, the Exalted, the Mighty. I know that Allah has power over all things, and Allah comprehends all things in knowledge. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of myself and from the evil of all creatures under Your control. Surely the straight way is my Sustainer’s way“.

لا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

La ilaha illa anta subhanaka, innee kuntu minadh-dhalimeen.

There is no God but You, Glory be to You, Truly I have been of the wrongdoers.​

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ

Transliteration

“My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favors which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds that will please You, and admit me by Your Mercy among Your righteous slaves.”.

AN-NAML (19)

رَبِّ اغفِر لى وَلِوٰلِدَىَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيتِىَ مُؤمِنًا وَلِلمُؤمِنينَ وَالمُؤمِنٰتِ وَلا تَزِدِ الظّٰلِمينَ إِلّا تَبارًا

Rabbi ighfir lee waliwalidayya waliman dakhala baytiya muminan walilmumineena waalmuminati wala tazidi alththalimeena illa tabaran.

My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who enters my house believing, and the believing men and the believing women; and do not increase the unjust in aught but destruction!

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ

Rabbanaghfirli waliwalidayya walil mu`mineena yawma yaqoomul hisaab.

Our Lord! forgive me and my parents and (all) the believers on the day when the account will be established.

رَبِّ ارحَمهُما كَما رَبَّيانى صَغيرًا

Rabbi irhamhuma kama rabbayanee sagheeran

O my Lord! have compassion on them, as they brought me up (when I was) little.

اللَّهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لَمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ

Transliteration

O Allah! Nobody can hold back what you give and nobody can give what You hold back; and efforts by anyone for anything cannot benefit one against Your Will.

الَّلهُمُّ إنِي أعُوذِ بِكَ مِن عِلْمٍ لا يَنفَع، ومِن قَلبٍ لا يَخشَع، ومِن نَفسٍ لا تَشبَع، ومِن دُعاءِ لا يَسمَع

'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'ilmin la yanfa' wa min qalbin ya yakhsha' wa min du'a'in la yusma' wa min nafsin la tashba'.

"O Allah! I seek refuge with You from knowledge that does not benefit, and from a heart that is not subdued and humble, and from a supplication that is not heard, and from a self that is not satisfied."

للَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ حُبُّكَ، وَحُبَّ مَنْ أحَبَّكَ، وَحُبَّ عَمَلٍ يُقَرِّبُنِي لِحُبِّكَ

Allahumma inni as aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuka, wa hubba kulle 'amalin yuqarribuni ila hubbika.

O Allah! I ask You for Your love and the love of those who love You, and for the love of every action which will bring me closer to Your love.

Transliteration

O Allah! Open for me the doors to Everything Good, and the doors to Peace and Security, and the doors to Health and Wellness, and the doors to Your Blessings, and the doors of Your Barakah, and the doors to Strength and Perseverance, and the doors to Love and Caring, and the doors to Your Mercy, and the doors to Your Sustenance, and the doors to Knowledge, and the doors to Your Forgiveness, and the doors to Jannah, O Allah, The Most Beneficent And Most Merciful.

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي

Rabb-ishrah li sadri, wa yassir li ‘amri, Wah-lul ‘uqdatam-min-li-saani, Yaf-qahuu qawlii.

O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness); Ease my task for me; And remove the impediment from my speech, so they may understand what I say.

[Surah Ta-Ha; 20:25-28]

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا, وَ رِزْقًا طَيَّبًا, وَ عَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً

Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘Ilman naafi’an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan.

O Allah! I ask You for knowledge that is of benefit, a good provision and deeds that will be accepted.

اللَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي، وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي، وَزِدْنِي عِلْمًا

Allaahum-manfa'ni bima 'al-lamtani, wa 'al-limni ma yanfa'uni, wa zidni 'ilma

Oh Allah, benefit me with what You have taught me and teach me knowledge that will be useful to me, and increase me in knowledge.​

رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ

Rabbi ‘inni limaa ‘anzalta ‘ilayya min khairin-faqeer.

O my Lord! I am indeed needy of whatever good You may send to me.

[Surah Qassas; 28:24]

اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ

Allahumma A jirny mina Annar

“O Allah, save me from the fire (Jahannam).”

Muslim Taimi (R.A.) narrates from Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W.) to recite this duaa seven times before speaking to anyone, after Fajr & Maghrib Prayer.

سُبْحاَنَكَ تُبْتُ إلَيْكَ وَ أنَاْ أوَّلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Subhānaka tubtu ilaiyka wa ‘ana awwal-ul mu’mineen

Glory be to You! To You I turn in repentance, and I am the first to believe.

[surah al-A’raf, 7:143]
